12th Annual, Kick Off For Kids Event

After learning about the homeless situation in Central Florida through a 60-Minutes documentary, Kavaliro was inspired to take action. They launched a quarterly food drive to support local public school food pantries and backpack programs. This initiative evolved into Kick Off for Kids (501-c3), a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring all students receive the nourishment needed for academic success.

For the past 12 years, Kick Off For Kids has hosted an annual event coinciding with the NFL season kickoff. The goal is to raise funds to purchase food for schools on a quarterly basis. To date, Kick Off For Kids has supported over 44 schools, with 2 more currently on the waitlist.

The 12th annual Kick Off For Kids event took place on September 5th at Rock & Brews Restaurant in Oviedo, FL. With help from national sponsors—Kavaliro and Round Table Resource Group—the event was a resounding success. Families and local businesses joined us for a fun-filled evening at Rock & Brews, our hosting partner for the past 10 years. Special thanks to Tavo and his team for their continued support.

This year, we featured dozens of amazing raffle prizes, with baskets ranging from $200 to $1,180. Lucky winners took home custom RTIC Coolers, theme park tickets, and exclusive dining experiences. The excitement peaked with our KOFK Live Auction, offering getaways to St. Augustine and Cocoa Beach, exclusive Riley Greene items and Detroit Tigers tickets, and a competitive bid for a steak and whiskey dinner at The Hangry Bison.

By the end of the night, we raised $65,295! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us in raising these funds to purchase food and snacks for programs at 44 Central Florida schools. Your support made this possible!
