With the relatively recent boom of social media, more and more employers are utilizing this platform when looking to fill a position. The Orlando Business Journal recently examined how Kavaliro’s managing partner, Bill Peppler, uses social media in recruiting new hires.  Peppler firmly believes in businesses utilizing social media tools to hire top employees because it makes the search process simpler. Kavaliro utilizes it so much so, that more than 75 percent of its hires were garnered via social media searches.

“The technology pieces available to us are great tools. It makes the search process much easier,” said Peppler “What business owner has time to read 1,000 resumes?”

Peppler sees the use of various social media platforms as a great way for a company to get their message and brand out to potential candidates.  By being able to market your companies brand socially, companies can now identify if a candidate’s social presence is a strong organizational fit.
