The 2014 Kavaliro Employee Conference kicked off on January 24th, 2014. The conference’s theme was #TimetoErupt! Employees from all five office locations were able to connect and prepare for the weekend’s events with the Kavaliro Conference App. This app was designed especially for the weekend by Kavaliro’s own Tim Arnold and gave conference details like the schedule and location of events. The employees were fired up in the weeks prior to the conference and participated in social media contests on Vine and Twitter to spread the word using the official 2014 Kavaliro Conference hashtag #TimeToErupt.
Kavaliro’s leadership team presented at the conference on an array of useful topics, from goal setting strategies to growth opportunities. Chief Financial Officer, Jennifer Miller, spoke about what goes on behind the scenes and in the leadership office, allowing newer team members to grasp a better understanding of daily operations, as well as the expectations Kavaliro has for all employees. Both old and new employees were able to gain insight from the company’s recent year of accomplishments, as well as their 2014 goals. Kavaliro also showed how much they love awarding hard work, as last year’s top earners were awarded entrance to the Ring of Fire, which includes the incentives and recognition they worked so hard for in 2013.
In addition to all the excitement already generated by the conference, Kavaliro hosted a special guest appearance with motivational speaker and Senior VP of the Orlando Magic, Pat Williams. Williams is an inspirational speaker with accomplishments not limited to writing more than 80 books, being an Army veteran, and honored in the NBA’s Basketball Hall of Fame. The Kavaliro team was honored to have a chance to hear the professional and every-day guidance Williams was able to offer. One team member from Kavaliro had this to say about the session, “The motivational speaker, Pat Williams’, perspective on what success truly means and how to instill certain principles into your professional life in order to win, were incredible. He had such a unique take on success and how to go about achieving it that it was refreshing and incredibly inspiring.” Williams’ speech left an impact on the entire conference and employees in attendance were glad to share what they took away from the retreat’s events.

The conference was held to help the staff get excited about setting goals to make sure that 2014 tops the amazing events of 2013. Kavaliro’s President, Mark Moore said he was delighted at the instant camaraderie formed between staff members from all 5 different offices. “As the Kavaliro staff continues to grow, so does its business,” said Moore. “Seeing employees from so many different walks of life work together so well, gives me confidence in the strengths each one of them has to help the company to succeed.”
