We are thrilled to announce this month’s employee spotlight – Rafael Restrepo! Rafael is a proud Knight having graduated from UCF in 2002 with a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems. Rafael first started with Kavaliro in 2010 and is now the Director of Business Development. He has been in the staffing industry since 2006, where he first started as a technical recruiter, then developed to a sales and management position. Prior to working in the staffing industry he was employed by a technology company as a BA and support analyst.
His responsibilities at Kavaliro include locating, developing, negotiating and closing new business relationships. He also plays a large role in mentoring the sales and recruiting team in Orlando in order to continue the successful growth of Kavaliro. In 2012, Rafael was a Ring of Fire Award winner as one of Kavaliro’s top performers.
Rafael is an avid traveler. In the last two years alone he has been to countries such as: Turkey, China, Brazil, Germany, Japan, Emirates and Thailand. Outside of work, you can typically find Rafael on the soccer field playing his favorite sport.
