His unique path towards Information Technology, sparked by a moment of clarity during a church service, led him towards a career in the Department of Defense, supporting a crucial government program across the Space Force, a role he finds truly fulfilling. The Business Development Manager that nominated him had nothing but wonderful things to say. “I’d like to nominate Mario Zamora. The hiring manager at my client has done nothing but sing his praises. He’s working very hard and learning quickly. He gets along with the team great and has been a true professional. Mario is very humble, positive, and is always looking for opportunities to help in anything he can.” Originally from Broomfield, Colorado, Mario now calls Colorado Springs home. When he has time to relax outside of work, you can find him taking part in one of his favorite hobbies: working out and lifting heavy weights, playing soccer, and most recently, getting back into playing chess. Fun facts about Mario, he has never broken a single bone in his body (let’s hope it stays that way!), his go-to snack will always be a classic PB & J sandwich, and he started his professional career as a concrete construction worker during his early college days. Mario’s journey of personal growth and overcoming challenges, particularly as a child raised by a single mother, is what he holds in the highest regard. Having to break barriers, stay focused and avoid divergent paths that didn’t align with his growth goals showcases his inspiring story of resilience and determination, coupled with his commitment to continuous learning. Next up on the education platform…learning the ins and outs of home maintenance. A crucial skill, given his recent investment in his new home. These skills particularly matter to him because, as Mario says, “This is important to me because it was a big investment and like all other investments, it’s important to maintain and take care of them. This can be your career, finances, and family. It’s taught me a lot about what life is really about.” Mario leaves us with sage advice: "You can take breaks, pause to relax, enjoy some Netflix but never stop trying because eventually, something will work out for you." His enthusiasm and vibrant character truly embody the core values of Kavaliro. We are privileged to have him as one of our consultants.
