Chakese is an Accounting Analyst from Chicago, IL. She pursued this career after one of her teachers in high school suggested that she would excel in a field of this nature. As an Accounting Analyst, no two days are the same. Being able to solve a different problem every day is one of Chakese's favorite aspects of her job.
Chakese takes great pride in being coachable. She values continuous learning and knows that there is always a learning opportunity in anything. At the moment, she is learning the importance of building relationships in her line of work. She says, "Building relationships in this line of work is essential. Not only with your direct team, but with others you meet and collaborate with. There is so much volatility, you want to make sure you have the right people in your corner."
In her spare time, Chakese enjoys exploring new cuisines, listening to different genres of audiobooks & podcasts, and traveling to new places. She's also a self proclaimed comedian and is a firm believer in laughter being good for the soul. Being from Chicago, she's a Chicago Bulls fan. In fact, she has fond memories of her dad taking her to see Michael Jordan's mansion when she was a pre-teen. 🏆
