Lisa calls the bustling beach town of Wilmington, NC home. This is where she enjoys a lifestyle filled with joy and adventure activities. When she’s not making an impact professionally, you’ll likely find her bike riding along the scenic routes Wilmington has to offer, spending quality time with her adult sons, or enjoying the sun and waves when she takes her beloved dogs to the beach. Her love for the coast and family shines through everything she does.
Lisa’s professional career includes a diverse set of experiences such as coaching youth sports, retail management and compliance and teaching. The desire for a new venture and the opportunity to explore uncharted territories is what led her to her current role in finance where she works in accounts payable.
Without hesitation, Lisa said that her favorite part of her career is the incredible people she works with. She is part of a fantastic team and appreciates having a supportive manager who encourages her every step of the way.
Did you know that Lisa was invited to the White House to meet President Bill Clinton? It’s a memory she treasures and a testament to the fascinating journey she has had.
Lisa's greatest pride in life comes from her sons. She takes immense joy in seeing the great men they have become with compassionate hearts and strong characters.
New learning opportunities arise regularly in the corporate world and Lisa is currently embracing the value of teamwork. The incredible people she works with are constantly showing her why teamwork is important. The support, collaboration, and shared goals make all the difference.
When asked if she had any advice to share with the rest of the world, Lisa’s heartfelt and empowering words ring true, “Believe in yourself and be patient with yourself. You are more than capable to do anything you put your mind to.
