Consultant of the Month: Dave Stover

Dave calls the sunny city of Palm Bay, FL his home. This paradise is where he enjoys a life filled with creativity, family, and fun. 

When he’s not solving complex IT challenges, you’ll find him indulging in his favorite hobbies: building intricate LEGO creations, belting out tunes during karaoke sessions, or spending quality time with his 11-year-old daughter, Heather. His love for family and creative expression shines through in everything he does.

Dave’s professional journey began when he enlisted in the US Army, where he entered the IT field. With an impressive 34 years of IT experience under his belt, he has become a seasoned expert in tackling technical challenges. His favorite part of the job? Solving problems. Dave finds immense satisfaction in cracking tough issues and revels in the sense of accomplishment that comes with it.

Fun fact about Dave...he has a knack for cartoon and character voices. From The Muppets to Disney to Looney Tunes, his talent for bringing characters to life is as impressive as it is entertaining. A talent that definitely came in handy while reading bedtime stories!

Dave’s greatest pride in life is his family—his wife Rocio their daughter Heather. Their love and support fuel his drive both personally and professionally. 

Currently, Dave is diving into the world of Grid Solutions in his role as an Electronic Technician/Assembler. He believes this work is vital, as it reminds us all how much we take the ease of access to electricity and power for granted.

When asked for advice for those entering the IT field, Dave shared some wise words, “You will love it and hate it. You learn many things but must continue to learn as it is an ever-changing field.” His commitment to continuously learning is a testament to his passion for his craft.

Dave has been a part of the Kavaliro family for 16 years and cherishes every moment. “Every moment, good or bad, is a learning moment and can make you a better person, personally and professionally,” he says.
