Kavaliro wants to congratulate Matt Sweeney on being name our May Consultant of the Month! Matt works as a Payload Operator. He has been working with Kavaliro for around eight months.
When not at work, Matt can be found kicking back at some of his local beaches, exploring all the diverse tropical environments Oahu has to offer. Matt is an outdoors guy who likes finding new hiking spots and taking his dog Yoda (a Whippet) to the dog park. He is also a big Game of Thrones fan and has been watching this season! 
We asked Matt what his secret dream job was and he told us, that he hopes to have a cybersecurity career in the private sector, eventually. He is currently spending his time in the "greatest work environment I've ever encountered" and does not plan to move to the private sector for a while. He also told us " The Kavaliro team has the highest regards for my self and colleagues, and the client has openly welcomed us as their family.

Matt does not plan on retiring. He enjoys participating in a productive effort to keep both himself engaged and improving the community. One day he and his wife Linda plan on opening a small business after they leave Hawaii.
“It has been a privilege to work with Matt over the past 8 months. He is truly an exceptional individual and employee, and was recently recognized for his outstanding work by our customer. It is not often that I come across an individual with the kind of integrity and commitment that Matt has," said President, Mark Moore.
We asked Matt if he had any additional thoughts or random facts he wanted to share, and he told us, "I’m a recently discharged (honorably) veteran from the U.S. Navy, as an Intelligence Specialist of six years in the active duty service. Kavaliro is the first company that I’ve worked for as a veteran, and I have nothing but great things to say about the team I’ve joined. From the structure, the culture, the attentiveness, and care of their employees, they are top notch in my book. I look forward to growing with this company and experiencing new opportunities, wherever they exist".
