At Kavaliro, we take immense pride in our team members who embody our core values and contribute significantly to our success. This month, we shine the spotlight on April Briggs, our dedicated HR Onboarding Manager, whose passion for helping employees kickstart their careers is truly inspiring.
When asked about her favorite part of the job, April shared, "A great part of my job is that it isn’t the same from day to day. There is always something new popping as Kavaliro grows and we have more offerings for our clients. I also like being able to work with multiple branches and divisions. I’d have to say though that my favorite part of the job is getting to play a small part in helping our employees start their new careers."

April joined Kavaliro in September 2018 as an HR Coordinator in the Charlotte office. Through her hard work and dedication, she was promoted to an HR Specialist before assuming her current role as the HR Onboarding Manager.

Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, April cherishes her proximity to both the beach and the mountains. Despite her busy schedule, she finds solace in crafty and creative activities, particularly enjoying party/event planning. Her guilty pleasure? Binge-watching reality TV shows like Below Deck when time allows.

An interesting tidbit about April is her experience as an extra in the movie "Eddie" at a young age. This unique memory adds a touch of excitement to her otherwise humble persona.

April's journey into the HR industry began in 2014 after transitioning from a role at a car dealership. What started as a serendipitous entry into the staffing realm eventually led her to Kavaliro. Reflecting on her decision to join the team, April recalls how a simple connection through a friend set her on the path to becoming an integral part of the Kavaliro team.
