The Kavaliro team had an amazing time this past weekend at the annual conference! The team kicked off on Friday at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando with presentations and activities centered around the theme “Igniting Your Inner Superhero.” The weekend was also filled with fun activities including laser tag, relaxing by the pool, exploring Orlando’s attractions and so much more. It was an amazing weekend for employees from all offices to come together to recharge, bond and get ready for Kavaliro’s best year yet!
“It was incredible to see everybody all together, hear speakers and to learn more about each of the offices,” said Kelly Babb, Resource Manager. "Kaity Ostrowsky and I spent an entire day reviewing our notes and talking about the things we want to implement within ourselves and our team. Kavaliro Conference 2015 was awesome!”
Prior to the conference, Kavaliro employees entered the Kavaliro Workplace Hero social media contest. Each employee shared who his or her workplace hero is, and then tweeted at them sharing why. It was a great way to get into the right mindset and think about how to be a hero to someone at work! Kavaliro also put together a “media scoreboard” to recognize employees who were featured the most in the news this past year. It was incredible to see how many impressions the team has made. Congratulations to Stephanie Bruha, the Workplace Hero contest winner and David Gilcher, who had the most media impressions of 2014!
Kavaliro was also proud to announce a few of its other award winners, including Fueling the Flame and FireStarter. Fueling the Flame award recipients include: Kavita Malladi, Jennifer Miller, Jai Davis, Natalie Castellana and Stephanie Bruha. The FireStarter was awarded to Kavaliro’s one and only Noelle Cipollni.
In addition to the award announcements, Kavaliro also revealed which employees will be attending the annual Ring of Fire trip. Every year, Kavaliro rewards top performing employees with a trip to an exotic location. This year’s attendees include: Rebecca White, Sawlan Quant, Suresh Raj, Josh Ridgeway, Rafael Restrepo, Tim Arnold and Chris Baeten.
“I’m so confident in our team,” said Natalie Diaz, Resource Manager. “All of our branches are ready to hit this year hard. The guest speaker couldn’t have been more perfect for what we needed as a company. I’m so grateful for such an amazing weekend!”
