Kavaliro is proud to recognize recruiter, Tim Davis, for November’s employee spotlight! Tim joined Kavaliro’s Jacksonville office as a resource manager almost one year ago. With more than five years of experience within various industries, Tim consistently goes beyond expectations with his day-to-day activities.
Tim grew up in beautiful St. Louis, MO, and decided to move to Florida in 2004. He attended the University of North Florida as well as the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield, UK to study Marketing and International Business.
Tim’s favorite part about being a Kavaliro team member is the amount of freedom he is given with his work. Not only does he focus on his given responsibilities, but he’s also able to use his various skillsets in other facets of the business. With his wandering frame of mind, he appreciates the fact that Kavaliro allows him to present his ideas while also recognizing and utilizing them. The feeling of building something great is what gives him motivation. With the new office in Jacksonville, the idea of the team starting something and making it successful is what makes work so exciting for him.
“Tim has been a valuable contributor to our Jacksonville office and company as a whole,” says Rebecca White, Area Director. “He has been instrumental in helping launch SharePoint company wide as well as coming up with and implementing ideas to help drive efficiency in the Jacksonville office.”
Outside of work hours, Tim is always looking for the next adventure. His web homepage is Google Flights, so he is always ready to book the next great flight deal to a fun and new location. He is definitely not the all-inclusive resort or hotel-type either, as he will usually look for local hostels or embarks on a Couchsurfing adventure when he visits other places. Getting out of his comfort zone and learning about other people and cultures is his greatest passion. Luckily, Tim lives within walking distance to the beach so when he is not traveling, you will find him visiting the ocean.
